About
Palmer Agri Parts

Specialists in Cultivation and Plough Parts

Palmer Agri Parts’ origins date back to September 1954 when the business opened as a Blacksmith.

Over the next 48 years Palmer Agri Parts became renowned not only for their Blacksmith work but also the repair and manufacture of parts for local Farm Implements.

In 2002 Paul Rowland joined the team and with his expert Farm Engineering skills quickly settled himself into life at Palmer Agri Parts.

In 2004 the opportunity to purchase the business arose and Paul took the leap to become business owner with his wife Nicky.

Palmer Agri Parts has worked passionately to become a destination for NZ Farmers who need a specialised Cultivation or Plough part either repaired or made.

This locally owned business has the ability to manufacture Cultivation and Plough parts on site as well as sourcing specific parts from around the world.

Meet the team

Paul Rowland

Paul has been in the Agricultural Engineering field for more than 30 years so his knowledge base is second to none when it comes to Cultivation and Plough parts. While he may be the company Director, Paul spends most of his time in the workshop getting his hands dirty and working directly with his customers. His humble approach to business and his level of high standard have helped shape the success of Palmer Agri Parts today. When Nicky manages to drag Paul away from work you’ll likely find him out on the water on a sailboat or leisurely cruising around on his ride on lawn mower.

Nicky Horrell

The smiling face that will greet you as you enter Palmer Agri Parts is Nicky. Nicky comes from a medical background. When she left school she went to work in Pharmacy, training as a Pharmacy Technician. She later went on to work at a Doctors Surgery as a Medical Receptionist. Nicky joined the team full time in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since.  Full of energy and knowledge Nicky will get you sorted out in no time.

Corey Thomson

Corey’s been with Palmer Agri Parts since 2003. Starting out as an afterschool lad, Corey worked his way through his Engineering Apprenticeship and is the most valued asset in the Palmer Agri Parts workshop. Corey is as loyal as they come and always keen for a challenge. His craftsmanship is exceptional and his banter is just as flawless. When he’s not at work, Corey can be found spending time with his partner Emma working on renovation projects around their home and hunting with his best mate Della, a German Shorthair Pointer.
